SOUTH AFRICA MANAGED to get a firm grip of Pool B again today with a 34 – 16 win over Scotland, who led until today.

Though the Springboks were dominant for the majority of the game, Scotland produced the try of the contest.

Duncan Weir intercepted deep in his own half, and galloped into Springbok territory before finally being put down by JP Pietersen. He popped a quick ball up to Tim Visser and the wing kept it alive to give Tommy Seymour the touchdown.
