THE 2016 GAA season kicks up a notch this week with the Allianz football leagues commencing next weekend.

The glamour clash between Dublin and Kerry in Croke Park next Saturday night is the main tie in Division 1.

The Sigerson and Fitzgibbon Cups also start this week while in hurling there’s the Walsh Cup final and Dr Harty Cup semi-finals to look forward to.
