Six days after they played out a draw at Croke Park, Galway and Dublin go at it again today at OโConnor Park with a place in the Leinster hurling semi-finals at stake. Stick with us and weโll keep you up to speed on all the action from Tullamore. Throw-in is at 4.45pm.
Manager Anthony Cunningham has kept faith with the same Galway team that drew 1-17 to 0-20 with the Dubs last Sunday:
Galway: Colm Callanan; Johnny Coen, John Hanbury, Pรกdraig Mannion; David Collins, Iarla Tannian, Gearรณid McInerney; Joseph Cooney, Aidan Harte; Andrew Smith, Cyril Donnellan, Jonathan Glynn; Cathal Mannion, Joe Canning, Jason Flynn.
Dublin boss Ger Cunningham has made two changes to his starting line-up. Michael Carton replaces injured full-back Peter Kelly and Paul Schutte will slot in alongside Carton in the full-back line at the expense of Colm Cronin:
Dublin: Alan Nolan; Cian OโCallaghan, Michael Carton, Paul Schutte; Chris Crummey, Conal Keaney, Shane Durkin; Johnny McCaffrey, Simon Lambert; Ryan OโDwyer, Liam Rushe, Danny Sutcliffe, David OโCallaghan, David Treacy, Mark Schutte.
Galway fans will be expecting more from Joe Canning today in Tullamore. His influence was curbed last week at Croke Park by a hand injury.
The winners of todayโs game will face Offaly or Laois โ who play tomorrow in Portlaoise (3.30pm) โ in a Leinster semi-final on Saturday, 20 June.
One late change to the Galway team, with Daithi Burke coming in for Gearoid McInerney at wing-back.
Thereโs also a late change for Dublin: Darragh OโConnell is in at midfield, Johnny McCaffrey is out.
Itโs sunny but blustery in Tullamoreโฆ
Big day for former Kerry player Darragh OโConnell, whoโs been drafted in at midfield for Dublinโฆ
Itโs a half-empty OโConnor Park and Eddie Brennan and Tomรกs Mulcahy are disappointed with the turn-out from both countiesโ supporters in the RTร studio.
GOAL! Galway 1-0 Dublin 0-0 (Cathal Mannion, 1)
Galway 1-0 Dublin 0-0
Brilliant start for Galway with a superb goal by Mannion inside the opening minute.
Galway 1-2 Dublin 0-1
Andy Smith and Darragh OโConnell trade points before Jason Flynn points a free for Galway.
GOAL! Galway 2-2 Dublin 0-1 (Cathal Mannion, 5)
Galway 2-3 Dublin 0-1
Another one for Mannion, what a start by him. Heโs got Paul Schutte in a lot of trouble. Jason Flynn extends Galwayโs lead with another point.
Galway 2-4 Dublin 0-1
Penalty for Dublin but, with just goalkeeper Colm Callanan to beat, David Treacy sends it wide. Joe Canning then gets his first point of the game. All of Galwayโs full-forward line are already on the board.
Galway 2-5 Dublin 0-1
โDublin havenโt really got off the bus at all,โ says Liam Sheedy in RTร commentary as Treacy sends a free wide before Cyril Donnellan stretches Galwayโs lead.
Galway 2-5 Dublin 0-1
Galway have a strong wind behind them in this first-half but itโs been a very poor start from Dublin in any case.
GOAL! Galway 3-5 Dublin 0-1 (Cathal Mannion, 11)
Galway 3-5 Dublin 0-1
A hat-trick for Mannion inside 11 minutes, incredible stuff. Colm Callananโs puck-out landed inside Dublinโs 21 and Mannion was there to flick it past Alan Nolan.
Galway 3-8 Dublin 0-1
Another free from Flynn is followed by an Aidan Harte point from play. Beautiful piece of skill by Flynn to set it up.
Galway 3-10 Dublin 0-1
Five points now for Jason Flynn as he slots over another free. Then Cathal Mannion gets one from play. About time he got a point.
Galway 3-10 Dublin 0-1
Hereโs the hat-trick heroโฆ
Galway 3-10 Dublin 0-3
Treacy with a free and then one from play to end Dublinโs 18-minute wait for a score. Padraig Mannion is down for Galway with what looks like a nasty injury.
Galway 3-10 Dublin 0-4
Thankfully Mannion is okay to play. Second point of the game there for Darragh OโConnell.
Galway 3-10 Dublin 0-4
Ten minutes remain in the first-half. Even at this early stage, is there a way back for Dublin?
Galway 3-11 Dublin 0-5
Brilliant point by Danny Sutcliffe but Joe Canning responds right away for Galway. That was Galwayโs first score in 10 minutes.
Galway 3-12 Dublin 0-6
Jason Flynn converts another close-range free for Galway to extend their lead to 16 points with five minutes to go until the break, but Simon Lambert hits back for Dublin with a long-range placed-ball.
Galway 3-12 Dublin 0-6
Yellow card for Galway defender Daithi Burke for a heavy challenge on Danny Sutcliffe. Lambertโs free drops short.
Galway 3-13 Dublin 0-6
Good pressure by Galway and theyโre rewarded with a fine point for Jason Flynn. Lots of silly off-the-ball stuff starting to break out now.
Hereโs that lovely assist by Flynn for Aidan Harteโs point from earlierโฆ

Galway 3-13 Dublin 0-6
Ryan OโDwyer is brought down in added time and itโs another penalty for Dublin. Yellow card for John Hanbury. Thatโs Galwayโs fifth of the game. Dublin have brought in Paul Ryan for David Treacy, and Ryan will take the penalty immediately.
Galway 3-13 Dublin 0-7
What a save by Colm Callanan! He dives at full stretch to his left to deny Paul Ryan and Dublin have to settle for a 65, which Ryan points.
HALF-TIME: Galway 3-13 Dublin 0-7
Can Dublin get back into this game in the second-half?
โItโs been an absolute disaster from Dublinโs perspective,โ says Tomรกs Mulcahy on RTร.
Galway 3-13 Dublin 0-7
Weโre underway for the second-half in Tullamore. A 15-point deficit for Dublin to recover from. Letโs see if they can do it.
GOAL! Galway 4-13 Dublin 0-7 (Joe Canning, 37)
Galway 4-13 Dublin 0-7
A superb goal by Joe Canning and itโs followed by a scuffle between him and Dublin goalkeeper Alan Nolan, which results in both players being booked. Itโs hard to see Dublin coming back from this.
Galway 4-13 Dublin 0-9
Dublin substitute Paul Ryan gets his second point of the game before Ryan OโDwyer chips in with his first.
GOAL! Galway 5-13 Dublin 0-9 (Joe Canning, 42)
Galway 5-13 Dublin 0-9
Canning plucks it out of the air and buries the ball past Alan Nolan. Having the wind with them in this half doesnโt seem to be making much of a difference for Dublin.
Galway 5-13 Dublin 0-10
Paul Ryan points for Dublin. Only six goals between the teams now.
Galway 5-13 Dublin 0-10
Handbags in Tullamoreโฆ
Galway 5-15 Dublin 0-11
Another free for Flynn.
Galway 5-16 Dublin 0-12
Another free from Paul Ryan for Dublin, his fifth point of the game. But Cathal Mannion hits back for Galway to take his personal tally to 3-2. Galwayโs forward line have scored 5-13 between them.
Galway 5-17 Dublin 0-16
Another Ryan free is followed by a good point by Eamonn Dillon. Then a close-range free from Ryan goes over when a goal opportunity presented itself. Padraig Brehony responds for Galway, before Mark Schutte points for the Dubs. Dublin fans hoping for a comeback, itโs not looking likely.
Galway 5-18 Dublin 0-17
Mannion gets a point for Galway which is then cancelled out by Cian Boland.
Hereโs Colm Callananโs brilliant penalty save from Paul Ryan at the end of the first-halfโฆ
Galway 5-18 Dublin 0-18
Liam Rushe gets on the board for Dublin but itโs far too little too late.
GOAL! Galway 5-18 Dublin 1-18 (Eamonn Dillon, 65)
Galway 5-18 Dublin 1-18
Dillon finishes well after quick-thinking by Paul Ryan from a free. It reduces the gap to 12 but there wonโt be enough time for Dublin to get close to Galway.
Galway 5-18 Dublin 1-18
Galway corner-forward Cathal Mannion, who has hit 3-3, is unsurprisingly named as Liam Sheedyโs man-of-the-match on RTร.
Galway 5-19 Dublin 1-18
Joe Canning points in added time to take his own tally for the day to 2-3.
FULL-TIME: Galway 5-19 Dublin 1-18
An intolerant monarchy mind
