9 county senior finals, Dublin and Mayo players back in action - here's this weekend's key GAA games

The Cork hurling decider and Tyrone football final are two of the major games scheduled.

THE RESUMPTION OF the Dublin and Mayo senior football championships along with nine county senior finals, are the standout games from this weekend’s GAA club championship fixtures around the country.

After last weekend’s All-Ireland final replay, Dublin’s players will put their celebrations aside with eight SFC second round clashes fixed for this weekend. A highlight of the games in Dublin is Saturday’s clash where the current All-Ireland champions Ballyboden St-Enda’s face Kilmacud Crokes

Saturday also sees Mayo’s players returning to the pitch with the last round of senior football group games down for decision and the quarter-finalists set to be determined.

There’s nine county senior finals down for decisions on Sunday with football showdowns in Carlow, Cavan, Clare, Leitrim, Tyrone, Wexford and Wicklow along with hurling deciders in Cork and Laois.

It’s a big weekend of hurling action in Kilkenny, Tipperary and Waterford as well while it’s senior football semi-final day on Sunday in Galway and Kerry.
