DROGHEDA UNITED AND Bray Wanderers played out a scoreless draw at United Park, in a game where most of the action came in the first half and the latter stages of the second half.
It was Bray who were the better side in the opening period, with Aaron Greene at the centre of everything for the Seagulls going forward.

Greene’s first chance saw him beat Deasy on the right, run to the byline before shooting towards the near post where McGuinness managed to save.
Drogheda were limited to a Killian Brennan free-kick and a half chance for Marc Griffin either side of that Greene shot.
Greene went close again minutes before half-time as he found space on the edge of the box and sent a shot narrowly over the bar when it had looked destined for the top corner.
The first shot on target of the second half didn’t come until the 67th minute as Bray’s Gary McCabe hit a free-kick straight into the hands of McGuinness.
With 13 minutes to go, a Killian Brennan free-kick was headed down into the path of Wixted but he saw his shot blocked. The ball fell to the feet of Gallagher who fired into the side netting.
Then with just three minutes to go, Griffin was presented with the best chance of the game but he failed to connect properly with Sean
Brennan’s drilled ball.
