Kerry All-Ireland winner to miss out on club football semi-final against Corofin

Dr Crokes veteran Eoin Brosnan has been ruled out of Saturday’s clash.

DR CROKES WILL be without experienced defender Eoin Brosnan for Saturday’s All-Ireland club semi-final against Corofin.

Radio Kerry have reported that Brosnan picked up a calf injury at training recently and hasn’t recovered in time to take part in the last four clash at the Gaelic Grounds.

Brosnan, a three-time All-Ireland winner with Kerry, retired from the inter-county game for a second time in 2013.

He is extremely versatile and operated as a third midfielder in the Killarney club’s Munster final win over The Nire last November.

Dr Crokes, who are preparing for their fourth All-Ireland semi-final this decade, are underdogs heading into the game against the 2015 All-Ireland champions.

Otherwise, Dr Crokes are at full-strength as they bid to make their first All-Ireland final since 2007.
