AHEAD OF THE start of the Rugby World Cup this week, Doug Howlett dropped by The42 towers to talk to us about the All Blacks’ chances of finally winning a World Cup outside New Zealand.
The former Munster and Kiwi legend also told us who he was most looking forward to seeing play in this year’s tournament and just how divided the Howlett household will be if and when Ireland play the All Blacks.
Doug Howlett was speaking to help launch AIG’s Haka 360˚ Experience, an app which uses 360 degree video technology to give the viewer the feeling of being on the field with the All Blacks and in the midst of the powerful Māori ritual.
The Haka 360˚ experience is available via aig.com/haka360, on the App Store and Google Play.
A player you would prefer to play with than against.
Great player, wil be a huge loss to the Kingdom.
As a Cork man, I genuinely have massive respect for him as a player – apart from a few obvious incidents that were sorta silly and blown out of proportion, he was a top player. Now, about the fashion… Ahem ;-)
Great player for the kingdom,as a proud True Blue Dub,i enjoyed watching him play!!
Not always
