McHugh starts for Donegal, McCurry and Cavanagh back for Tyrone, Lynch leads Derry

Donegal play Derry in Ballybofey while Monaghan take on Tyrone in Omagh.

DONEGAL, DERRY AND Tyrone have all unveiled their starting sides for tomorrow night’s opening Division 1 Allianz football league games.

11 of the Donegal football side that started in last year’s All-Ireland final have been named to face Derry in Ballybofey tomorrow night.

Mark McHugh is a notable inclusion at wing-forward while wing-back Ciarán McGinley, centre-forward Martin McElhinney and corner-forward Martin O’Reilly are the other additions.

Finally Tyrone have made six changes from their team that in last weekend’s Dr McKenna Cup final win over Cavan. Ronan McNamee returns at full-back, Matthew Donnelly is named at centre-back while Colm Cavanagh comes in at midfield.

In attack PJ Lavery and Peter Hughes return to the half-forward line while Darren McCurry is selected at corner-forward. Justin McMahon, Joe McMahon, Conal McCann, Mark Donnelly, Plunkett Kane and Kyle Coney are the players to make way.
