Thankfully for the rest of us, Dimitri Payet just can't stop scoring remarkable goals

The magician has been one of the stars of Euro 2016 so far.

IT MAY LITERALLY have been men against boys but Dimitri Payet cared little.

Along with Gareth Bale, he’s been the headline act at Euro 2016 so far and was within an inch of conjuring another spectacular goal during France’s 0-0 draw with Switzerland after coming on as a second-half substitute.

But his superb side-foot volley thundered back off the underside of the crossbar and bounced to safety.

On Monday, Payet was involved in a training game at Clairefontaine for players who got little or no time in the weekend assignment.

Paris FC’s Under-19 side were the opposition and, inevitably, the West Ham magician conjured a moment of divine beauty.

The main thing we noticed is the complete lack of reaction from his team-mates.

In fairness, he probably does this all the time.
