DEVIN TONER HAS put pen to paper on a new three-year deal with the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) to commit his future to Leinster until June 2020.
The second row has become an integral part of Joe Schmidt’s international set-up and was one of the stars of Ireland’s November series campaign.
Toner, 30, made his Ireland debut in November 2010 and has gone on to win 42 caps at international level as well as playing 187 times for the eastern province.

His current deal, signed in 2014, ran out at the end of the 2016/17 season.
“Devin is a top class international second row and has grown into a leader for both Ireland and Leinster,” IRFU Performance Director, David Nucifora, said.
“His performances for Ireland over the past number of seasons have been outstanding and he continues to show growth and an appetite to develop his game.”
On signing the deal, Toner said: ”I am delighted to have re-signed with the IRFU and Leinster. There is a huge amount of talent coming through at Leinster and it is a really exciting time to be involved with the province.
“There is a real opportunity to be successful at both provincial and national level over the coming years and I look forward to playing a part in helping to achieve that success.”
