WESTMEATH FOOTBALL GREAT Dessie Dolan has been inducted into the Leinster GAA Hall of Fame.
Dolan, who enjoyed a 16-year career with Westmeath, was presented with a special award during the half-time break of his county’s Leinster SFC semi-final against Dublin in Croke Park.

The Garrycastle man played a key role in Westmeath’s All-Ireland U21 victory in 1999 and later went on to win a famous senior Leinster title in 2004.
He also won an All-Star that year.
He featured on three Leinster sides in the Railway Cup as well as representing Ireland in the International Rules series.
The Leinster chairman Jim Bolger made the presentation to Dolan on the pitch.
