Derry City 0-4 Dundalk

TWO GOALS IN the space of two first-half minutes set Dundalk on their way to an easy victory against Derry at Maginn Park.

Robbie Benson opened the scoring after 23 minutes and the game had barely restarted when David McMillan put the ball past Ger Doherty to make it 2-0.

The Lilywhites piled on the pressure with Robbie Benson making it 3-0 just nine minutes later, before John Mountney added a fourth four minutes before the break.

Stephen Kenny’s side have now scored 14 goals and kept four clean sheets in their last four outings as they look to cut the gap on runaway league leaders Cork City.
