DERECK CHISORA AND Dillian Whyte were never likely to wait until they were in the ring before going at it, but few would have expected this afternoon’s press conference to turn into a table-throwing farce.
Whyte defends his British heavyweight title against Chisora in Manchester on Saturday night, and when the two sat down to face the media, there was a significant security presence there to keep them apart.
The pair were seated at opposite ends of a (longer than usual) table, but that didn’t stop Chisora.
“I am the baddest man you’ll ever fucking meet,” he swore, accusing Whyte of making threats against his life before picking it up the desk in front of him, lifting it over his head and flinging it in Whyte’s direction.
