Ireland's Jeff Hendrick scored a magical goal for Derby tonight

DERBY COUNTY COULD have went top of the Championship table tonight with a win away to Leeds United tonight, but had to settle for a 2-2 draw at Elland Road.

The visitors began well with a wonderful goal on 13 minutes. After patient build-up play involving 17 passes, Ireland midfielder Jeff Hendrick took possession on the edge of the box before going by Liam Bridcutt and Sol Bamba and finishing with a neat chip.

The former St Kevin’s Boys schoolboy was back in the Derby team after coming on as a substitute in the Rams’ last two matches.

A brilliant team goal finished off beautifully, but pretty awful defending from Leeds.

Bamba then made up for the mistake with an equaliser just before half-time and Chris Wood and Tom Ince both notched after the break as the game ended all-square.

Here’s who we think will make Ireland’s 23-man Euro 2016 squad
