DERBY COUNTY ARE two points clear of Middlesbrough at the top of the Championship table after a 2-0 win over Charlton Athletic last night.

The Rams had Ireland international Jeff Hendrick to thank for both goals as the midfielder got on the end of Darren Bent’s cross to score the first for his eight of the season before teeing up on-loan Manchester United striker Jesse Lingard eight minutes later.

The 23-year-old also a helping hand from team-mates after getting his studs stuck in the net.
