IRELAND’S DENISE O’SULLIVAN got off the mark for new club Houston Dash in a 2-1 victory over Kansas City last night.
The Cork-born striker, who moved to the States from Glasgow City back in March, came off the bench to fire home the winner on 69 minutes as the Texas club overcame the defending NWSL champions in front of 3,282 fans at Swope Soccer Village.

The 22-year-old, who won FAI Senior Women’s Player of the Year recently, tweeted her delighted with scoring a first goal in the US a week after making her debut for Dash:
