Denis Irwin re-creates THAT goal against Liverpool*

*Very badly.

IT’S HARD TO forget arguably Denis Irwin’s most famous goal ever — a stunning free-kick during a 3-3 draw with Liverpool during the 1993-94 campaign.

Over 20 years on, Man United and Ireland fans still reminisce fondly about the Corkonian’s moment of magic at Anfield.

And with that in mind, Irwin decided to re-create that famous moment at the Cliff Training Ground recently ahead of a United-Liverpool legends match.

Bryan Robson, Irwin’s former teammate, also had a go at emulating his own audacious strike against Liverpool (see below).

Admittedly, the similarities between the two respective goals are less than uncanny.
