The Bray teenager needed just 20 minutes to seal victory over home favourite Sam Osborne-Wylde in Sheffield as he added the British title to his Irish Open win from before Christmas.
Gilevskiy, a student at Presentation College Bray, was utterly dominant in front of a large crowd and went on to record an emphatic 11-2, 11-6, 11-6 win.
“It feels amazing. I always believed I could do it, there’s no point thinking you can’t win otherwise you shouldn’t come at all,” he said afterwards.
“I’m still surprised I won, I just wanted to try my best and see how far I could come but to win is great.”
Denis gives his first reaction to getting and winning the U13 Final. A modest and gracious Champion. A great ambassador for IRISH SQUASH. https://t.co/mQXcAac6nO
