The recently crowned PFA Young Player of the Year could now face a ban after he lashed out at the West Brom defender during Spurs’ 1-1 draw with the Baggies at White Hart Lane.
The incident came on the hour mark as Alli let the emotions get the better of him by appearing to punch Yacob in the stomach after the pair clashed off-the-ball.
Alli and Yacob exchanged words afterwards but referee Mike Jones didn’t see the incident and both escaped punishment.
But Alli may be retrospectively banned by the Football Association and could miss the final three games of the season.
