Deflategate gets the South Park treatment, featuring Eric Cartman as Tom Brady

Bill Belichick and Roger Goodell are involved too.

A NEW SERIES of South Park began last night in the US and they tackled the Deflategate saga in the first episode.

The creators gave their satirical take on the ball-tampering controversy which marred the New England Patriots’ win over the Indianapolis Colts in January’s AFC Championship Game.

The episode features a dream sequence in which South Park character Eric Cartman acts as Patriots quarter-back Tom Brady, head coach Bill Belichick and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

“You broke the rules how you found out I broke the rules!”

The clip is just over 30 seconds long but it actually manages to summarise the entire saga quite well…
