Davy Fitzgerald's son named at midfield for Clare in Munster minor clash against Tipperary

The teams meet on Thursday night in Semple Stadium.

CLARE SENIOR BOSS Davy Fitzgerald’s son and Clare senior attacker Aaron Cunningham’s brother will form a midfield partnership for the county minor hurling team this week.

Colm Fitzgerald and Jack Cunningham will link up in the team named for Thursday’s Electric Ireland Munster MHC semi-final against Tipperary in Semple Stadium at 7.30pm.

There are four survivors from the team that lost out narrowly to Waterford in last year’s Munster minor hurling semi-final by 2-13 to 2-12.

Goalkeeper Jason Loughnane and the half-forward line of Aaron Shanagher, Mike O’Shea and Jason McCarthy all started in that loss to the Deise.
