Five-time All-Ireland winner joins the Dublin camogie backroom

Capital boost as David Herity joins Shane O’Brien’s backroom.

FORMER KILKENNY HURLING goalkeeper David Herity will coach the Dublin senior camogie team in 2016.

Herity, who won five All-Irelands with the Cats before retiring last year, was confirmed yesterday as part of Shane O’Brien’s backroom.

“Looking forward to working with the @CamogieDublin team for 2016,” he tweeted. “Excited to see how we progress.”

Paul O’Donoghue returns as coach/selector ahead of the new campaign, while DCU’s John Matthews is the strength and conditioning coach and Michael O’Grady continues as team advisor.
