David Haye does boxing no favours as he warns Bellew to 'enjoy your last days'

It’s not the first time Haye’s mouth has got him in trouble.

DAVID HAYE ADVISED Tony Bellew to enjoy his “last couple of days” as he plans to inflict a “real destruction job” on his fellow Englishman on Saturday.

Haye and Bellew’s war of words continued when they appeared at a final media conference on Thursday following weeks of heated exchanges ahead of the heavyweight fight.

And once again it was Haye doing most of the talking, warning Liverpudlian Bellew he plans to do as much damage as possible at the O2 Arena.

The Londoner said:

“Enjoy your last couple of days. There’s not going to be another day, this is the last day for you. That’s it, it’s over.

“Tony Bellew said he couldn’t beat the old David Haye, but the new David Haye is better than the old one.

“You’re going to see a real destruction job, knocking him down for 10 seconds doesn’t do it for me. I’m legally allowed to do as much damage as I can in 36 minutes, with 10oz gloves on. I hope he keeps on getting up.”

He added: “At best you’re going to sleep. You better pray you’re going to sleep because there are worse places you could go.”
