IRELAND INTERNATIONAL DAVID Forde has completed a one-year loan move to Portsmouth in a bid to resurrect his career.
The 36-year-old goalkeeper drops down a division to join the League Two outfit from Millwall after falling out of favour at both club and international level.

Forde, who was left out of Ireland’s Euro 2016 squad despite starting the qualification campaign as first choice, featured just eight times for Millwall last season and now leaves the club in search of regular football.
He spent eight seasons at The Den after signing from Cardiff City back in 2008 but lost his place to young Scottish ‘keeper Jordan Archer last term.
Forde will face competition from Paul Jones and academy graduate Alex Bass for the number one jersey at Fratton Park following the departure of Brian Murphy at the end of last season.
Enda Stevens, Michael Doyle and Ireland U21 international Adam Barton are all already on the books at Portsmouth.
