Elsewhere, Daryl Murphy was handed a Newcastle debut by Rafa Benitez and played the full 90 minutes as the Magpies beat Wolves 2-0 at St. James’ Park.

At Goodison Park, Robbie Brady claimed the bragging rights over Irish team-mate Seamus Coleman as Norwich beat Everton with Steven Naismith netting against his former club.
Richard Keogh, Cyrus Christie and Alex Pearce were all involved in the Derby defence but it proved a difficult night for them.
The Championship side were well beaten by Liverpool as Ragnar Klavan, Philippe Coutinho and Divock Origi were all on the mark.
