Horgan stepped up to the mark from the get-go providing an assist, and received a standing ovation as he was replaced after 90 minutes.

Preston went one up after 13 minutes, thanks to a Paul Huntington header.

Horgan helped double the lead, providing an assist to Callum Robinson’s second half goal.

The winger made his first appearance last weekend, as he came off the bench against Arsenal in their FA Cup tie.

If he doesn’t want us well then we don’t want him. Good luck to him I hope England works out for him except when he plays us.

Relax lads, he’s 23. It’s not like he has much development left in him anyway. He’d never have gotten into the Irish senior squad.
