FORMER DUNDALK STAR Daryl Horgan made his first start for Preston North End a memorable one, having a major impact on the game as his side beat Brighton 2-0.
Horgan stepped up to the mark from the get-go providing an assist, and received a standing ovation as he was replaced after 90 minutes.
Preston went one up after 13 minutes, thanks to a Paul Huntington header.

Horgan helped double the lead, providing an assist to Callum Robinson’s second half goal.
The winger made his first appearance last weekend, as he came off the bench against Arsenal in their FA Cup tie.
