'So you got dropped by Dundalk?': Horgan gets grilling from two Preston youngsters

The Galway native is already looking very comfortable at Deepdale.

DARYL HORGAN HAS taken to life at Preston North End like a duck to water, and he’s already fast becoming a fan favourite at Deepdale.

The former Dundalk star opened his goal-scoring account with the Championship club during a 4-2 win against Brentford earlier this month and he has also claimed two assists during his first seven games.

As part of his initiation period Horgan’s latest challenge saw him sat opposite two awe-struck Preston fans who were given the freedom to ask the 24-year-old what they pleased.

Junior Whites Alfie and Luke didn’t hold back either, asking Horgan if he was dropped by Dundalk before he made the move, who his childhood hero was, and what were the best pair of boots he ever owned.

It’s a nice change from the usual post-match interviews we’ve become so used to.
