DANIEL FLYNN IS back in the Kildare starting side for the first time since July 2013.
Flynn has been named at wing-forward for tomorrow night’s crunch Allianz Division 2 football league game against Cavan. Kildare desperately need a win after losing their first three games in the campaign to date.
Flynn came on as a late substitute in last Sunday’s defeat to Westmeath and scored a point in the game at St Conleth’s Park. He’s introduced into the starting fifteen in one change from last Sunday as Darroch Mulhall makes way.
Interestingly it’ll be Flynn’s first start under Kildare boss Jason Ryan. His last start was also Kieran McGeeney’s last game in charge when Kildare lost a qualifier against Tyrone in July 2013.
