And speaking at a press conference in Las Vegas on Friday night, White ruled out an imminent McGregor return, while explaining that Diaz would still fight at the event against an opponent yet to be confirmed.
“We don’t know (who Nate will fight) but we are trying to figure that out.
I want Conor to fight, of course I do, but you’ve got to show up for this stuff.

“Frankie (Edgar) and Jose (Aldo) will fight and Conor will fight the winner.”
Meanwhile, Diaz – who was also present at the event — said he was still eager to fight McGregor.
“I came to fight Conor McGregor… I don’t have interest in fighting anyone else.
“I didn’t ask for the fight. He asked for it and wanted it. If that ain’t happening, I’m going on vacation.
“I’m training to fight at UFC 200 against Conor McGregor.”
While all this was happening, McGregor had his say on Twitter, with the Irish fighter once again pointing out how much money he had earned for the company.
