Cris 'Cyborg' Justino set to finally make her UFC debut

The Invicta FC featherweight champion will make her Octagon debut in May.

CRIS ‘CYBORG’ JUSTINO is unbeaten in over a decade so there’s a very good reason she’s regarded as one of the most feared fighters in the world of mixed martial arts.

And the former Invicta FC and Strikeforce champion is set to step into the Octagon for the first time when she makes her debut at UFC 198 on 14 May.

The featherweight will take on Leslie Smith at Arena da Baixada in Curitiba, Brazil at a catch-weight of 140 pounds. It’s a home-town fight for Cyborg who boasts a 15-1, 1 NC record.

13 of those 15 pro wins have come by knockout.

In the UFC 198 main event, Fabricio Werdum defends his UFC heavyweight title against Stipe Miocic while there’s also an All-Brazil battle as Vitor Belfort faces Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza pencilled in as the co-main event.

The middleweight match-up between Anderson Silva and Uriah Hall is also likely to spark interest but Justino’s debut will be much anticipated.
