THE GAA HAVE confirmed this afternoon that Croke Park will be sold out for tomorrow’s All-Ireland senior football quarter-finals.

There are no tickets remaining for the senior double-header of Tyrone against Mayo at 4pm and Dublin against Donegal at 6pm.

There’s also a curtain-raiser in the form of the All-Ireland junior football final between Kerry and Mayo at 2pm.

It’ll be the first full house at GAA headquarters in 2016 with last September’s All-Ireland football decider the most recent sellout clash.

The opening two All-Ireland senior football quarter-finals last Sunday drew a crowd of under 30,000 as Kerry saw off Clare and Tipperary swept past Galway.

It was always envisaged that tomorrow’s game would ensure a capacity crowd given the attractiveness of the fixtures.

The four football teams playing tomorrow are some of the best supported in the country and between them have 12 All-ireland final appearances in the last 13 years.
