Cork call on 5 of their U21 finalists for Munster junior football opener

Rebels face Waterford in Fraher Field on Saturday.

THE CORK TEAM for Saturday’s Munster junior football quarter-final against Waterford features no fewer than five of the side beaten in last year’s U21 final.

Goalkeeper Anthony Casey, corner-back Kieran Histon, midfielder Ronan O’Toole, and wing-forwards Ryan Harkin and Don O’Driscoll are all named to start in Fraher Field (5pm).

Lisgoold’s John Cronin, who featured for Cork’s senior hurlers in the 2016 championship, starts at wing-back.
