Waterford and Cork will need to work on their lineouts for the next day

A bizarre stat from RTÉ after today’s game.

WATERFORD AND CORK produced a thrilling Munster senior hurling semi-final today in Thurles.

The Deise emerged victorious from a game which featured 44 scores… but no lineouts won, according to an unusual stat which popped up on RTÉ’s post-match coverage.

It was a good day for Waterford but their hooker will have plenty to work on before their Munster final meeting with Limerick or Tipperary on 12 July.
