PEADAR HEALY HAS included two newcomers in his first championship starting line-up as Cork senior football manager.
The Rebels will take on Tipperary in Sunday’s Munster semi-final at Semple Stadium in Thurles [3.30pm], with a place in the decider on 3 July against Kerry or Clare at stake.
Healy has opted to start with Ryan Price of O’Donovan Rossa in goal for the trip to Tipp, while the other championship debutant in the team is Ballincollig’s Sean Kiely, who will start at midfield.
Price emerged for the Rebels during the latter stages of their Allianz League campaign, starting in the games against Down, Monaghan and Kerry. Kiely won Munster U21 medals with the county in 2013 and ’14.

There’s no place on the panel for Michael Shields or Ken O’Halloran, who were released back to their clubs last month amid speculation over a breach of discipline during a training camp in Portugal, which was vehemently denied by management.
Cork’s starting selection for Sunday afternoon’s game contains just eight members of the team that began their last championship outing — an eight-point defeat to Kildare in the All-Ireland qualifiers in July 2015.
