PEADAR HEALY HAS made four changes to the Cork side for tomorrow’s Munster senior football final against Kerry.
The fit-again Aidan Walsh starts in midfield after recovering from the hamstring injury that ruled him out of the semi-final win over Tipperary, while Sean Powter and Mark Collins – who both impressed from the bench that day – are rewarded with starting places.
Kevin O’Driscoll comes in at wing-forward but Alan O’Connor has to make do with a place on the bench after missing the Tipp game through suspension, while Eoin Cadogan is also fit and among the substitutes.
Colm O’Driscoll, John O’Rourke and Peter Kelleher all miss out on the starting XV but are in the matchday panel. Brian O’Driscoll, who partnered Ian Maguire in midfield last time out, has been ruled out for the rest of the season after dislocating his shoulder in training.
Throw-in at Fitzgerald Stadium is at 2pm.

If Cork can match what will undoubtedly be huge levels of hunger with belief, then it could make for an interesting afternoon around Dalton’s Avenue tomorrow.. Come on the blood n bandages!!
Seán Powter corner back is interesting
@Seán O’Sullivan: swap with Crowley I’d say
@Seán O’Sullivan: a forward that can play wing back, Crowley or Shields will go to full back line. Only 2 defenders on the bench meaning only 7 in match day squad. Probably a dummy team like last time out, will be a few positional switches and a couple of team changes – hopefully O’Driscoll and Deane.
Thought Barry O Driscoll would get a start. Played very well when he came on
Alan O’Connor caused us all sorts of bother in 2015, Would have expected him to start..
@NeilGoochFerriter: he’s gone back a long way since 2015 unfortunately. He has even been struggling at junior level with his club recently
It will take a huge effort i think from this Cork setup to come close to what is a very average looking kerry team on paper.The present Cork management are slow learners and by the look of this team they will hardly pull a rabbit out of the bag at this stage.If conditions are good and kerry get into their stride early on they could finish in double figures all depends in which Cork team turn up.
@John Carroll: Will u ever have a day off?? There’s some young fellas in that Cork team playing in their 1st ever Munster final for their county.. If you’re a Cork man get behind them for chr*st sake! Tis bad enough when others are writing us off without our own!!!
@killian o Leary:Where have you been for the last two years?I understand what you are saying but waiting until the day of a Munster final to get your house in order and get behind your team is a joke.
@John Carroll: Do u hear this guy!! Where have i been for the past two yrs is it!! Ive been at far more Cork games than most i can tell you! What do u mean getting their house in order the day of a munster final? Ive been behind Cork football teams for over 30 yrs kid!!!
@Killian O’Leary: Pay no heed Killian that lad is an embarrassment to decent Cork fans.
@John Carroll: “huge effort required to get over what is a very average looking Kerry team on paper” fair play you manage to insult your own county and ours in that statement.
Your clueless about football.
@NeilGoochFerriter: Dead right!!
@killian o leary; In the last two years Cork under this management have slipped to Div 2 barely avoiding Div 3 this yr.We lost to Tipp in the championship last yr for the first time in years and eventually went out with a whimper to Donegal.This year we struggled to beat waterford in the first rd and barely beat an unstrength Tipp in the semi final.What have you been watching??.By now this Cork management team should have the best players on the field in their best positions and from that we could have some real positivity going to killarney, and by the way i’ve been watching Cork football just as long as you,and pay no heed to “Neil the Gouch man ferriter” he is just a nasty little troll from kerry and believe you me, it will give him the utmost pleasure to see Cork hammered tomorrow .
Sleepless night for the Cork full back line knowing they have to face Paul Geaney, Kieran Donaghy and James o Donoghue.
Go rebels
Miss match kerry by 15
What time do the kerry minors play and what channel is it on?
@Patrick Doherty: 12 pat, minors on radio Kerry.
