The second last round of games take place in the Allianz football league today.

IT WAS A big day of Allianz football league action as Cork took on on Mayo, Kerry faced Monaghan while Donegal met Tyrone.

Roscommon and Galway threw in half an hour ago in the only Division 2 game of the day with the Rossies 0-7 to 0-3 ahead now.

Cork 0-2 Mayo 0-0 Cork have started well against Mayo at Páirc Uí Rinn; Brian Hurley kicked over a free before Colm O’Neill did the same moments later.

GOAL! Cork 1-2 Mayo 0-1 Colm O’Neill cut inside and passed inside for Mark Collins who finished to the net.

GOAL! Roscommon 1-8 Galway 0-4 Diarmuid Murtagh has raised a green flag and Roscommon are well in control.

Cork 1-2 Mayo 0-3 After the Rebels’ good start, the Connacht side have scored the last three points. Jason Doherty converts a free and Danny Kirby tacks on another on Leeside.

Yellow cards for Lee Keegan and Paul Kerrigan after an off-the-ball incident.

Cork 1-2 Mayo 0-5 The visitors are level as Kevin McLoughlin knocks over the equalising point. That’s five on the trot for Mayo.

Mayo 0-6 Cork 1-2 Mark Ronaldson puts Mayo ahead and Cork need to get the scoreboard ticking over again.

Mayo 0-7 Cork 1-2 Donal Vaughan puts further room between the sides with Mayo’s seventh point in a row.

HALF-TIME Mayo 0-7 Cork 1-3  After five wides for the hosts, Clancy gets an important score for Cork before the break.

It’s not great stuff from Cork but they’ll have the benefit of a strong wind in the second period.

Latest for Dr Hyde Park: Roscommon 1-10 Galway 1-9.

Galway have taken control against Roscommon: 1-12 to 1-10 now. Six minutes or so to go.

Mayo 0-8 Cork 1-3 Play as resumed at Páirc Uí Rinn and Aidan O’Shea has added to Mayo’s total already.

Mayo 0-8 Cork 1-4 Fintan Goold tacks on a much-needed point for the Rebels, moments after Jason Doherty missed a close range free for Mayo.

Donegal 0-7 Tyrone 0-3 The Ulster sides have been exchanging points with Donegal in control thanks to a couple of Michael Murphy frees.

GOAL! Cork 2-7 Mayo 0-12 Conor Dorman plays the ball into Brian Hurley, who finds the net.

FULL-TIME Cork 2-7 Mayo 0-12 The Rebels manage to pull it out of the bag thanks to that late green flag. The Connacht side will wonder how they lost that one on the long trip home.

GOAL! Donegal 1-8 Tyrone 0-3 Ryan McHugh taps home after Michael Murphy nails another free. Rory Gallagher’s side are well in control coming up to half time.

Kerry 0-7 Monaghan 0-4 Jonathan Lyne shoots a great long range point as we approach the break. Tommy Walsh is on for Paul Geaney and Alan Fitzgerald earned a black card so Darran O’Sullivan is on.

Kerry 0-7 Monaghan 0-5 The visitors get going once again after the interval. Conor McManus converts a free after he’s fouled.

Tyrone and Donegal has resumed with Sean Cavanagh replacing Ronan O’Neill.

Kerry 0-7 Monaghan 0-7 Dermot Malone reduced the deficit to a single point before Johnny Buckley hit the equaliser.

Donegal 1-10 Tyrone 0-3 Another Michael Murphy free — from way out — makes it a 10-point game.

GOAL! Monaghan 1-7 Kerry 0-8 Owen Duffy is on the end of a well-worked move to punch home. They visitors are leading and playing with a strong wind.

Donegal 1-11 Tyrone 0-5 Peter Harte kicked the Red Hands’ first point of the second period before adding another moments later.

Donegal 1-12 Tyrone 0-5 Frank McGlynn gets another one for Donegal.

Monaghan still lead 1-7 to eight points in Tralee with Kerry wasting chances.

Monaghan 1-9 Kerry 0-8 We went 10 minutes or so without a score after that Monaghan goal but Paul Finlay and Conor McManus have added to the visitors’ total. Marc Ó Sé is on.

Monaghan 1-11 Kerry 0-9 Conor McManus has been impressive in Tralee. His sixth point of the day comes moments after David Moran converts a free from an acute angle. Not long left now.

Another black card for Donegal, this time for Martin McElhinney.

That’s a great win for the Farney in Tralee. They’ll head home knowing that great Owen Duffy goal was crucial.
