Bring back Moyes!
Maybe the fa cup not dead yet, Cambridge going to earn more for one game than what the would earn for a whole season
Pitch poor weather etc but no excuses. United were shocking tonight. Don’t care about possession or structures. LVG and the players need to perform to their extravagant financial rewards
Ye know as arrogant as fergie was he doesn’t hold a candle to this pr.ck van Gaal, imagine he’s spent €150m and is only a couple of places above Moyes, on the plus side he makes utd still easy to dislike
Lucky for van gaal that he didn’t come right after Fergie.Fans wouldn’t be so lenient, united have no style of play and they are still nervous.Id say there’s a few United fans thinking that Louis is not the man for them
Heaven knows he wasn’t ‘heaven sent’ anyway…..unless your selling botox, leathery folders or cringe enveloping song covers!
United didn’t seem to know what to do around the box alway cutting back an looking for an extra pass. Really really poor tonight. pitch didn’t help
So not in Europe, out of the league cup (by mk Dons incase anyone forgot) and now having to replay against Cambridge…..200 million was spent for nothing really. India put a man in space for 70 million. I think van gaal might be saying bye bye soon.
How Ander Herrera isn’t getting more game time is a joke. Every time he comes on he looks likely of creating something. If I was him I’d be looking for a transfer it must be painful sitting on the bench watching Fellaini play.
More botox for van Daal…..or another useless impulse buy at least!!
Karma for not competing in the competition 1999/2000
How can that be considered kharma? Maybe they will go on and win cup….
Karma* #YNWA
Sad b@stard
Surprised van gaal isn’t under more pressure at this stage considering the money he’s spent and the performances so far. We’re it not for Liverpool and arsenal being so poor they could be 5th or 6th. People talk about Rodgers buying badly (some of his signings are starting to show some form) but van gaal is in the same boat and spent much more. Di Maria is probably best signing but he’s quite inconsistent too.
Bitter much Brian, the man has been in the job six months. Utd are a work in progress, impossible to judge a manager on 6 months.
Players were absolutely dreadful tonight, how Jones is a utd/international player is unbelievable, No heart, no leadership and no fight. Gutless performance.
Impossible to judge a manager on six months?? How long did Moyes get last season??
Kevin, if it’s me your referring to as bitter you couldn’t be further from the truth, long may it last
Completely agree, how Jones is even a pro footballer is incredible. He is shocking poor! Valencia hasn’t made a positive impact since 2010, carrick is doin his best but his best days for utd were in the same side as Ferdinand vidic Scholes giggs Ronaldo etc, fellaini simply isn’t good enough, januzaj is such an anti climax but still very young, the new guys are takin time to settle in but none of them are showing much either. Moyes certainly wasn’t the man (sayin things like “we aspire to be like Man City”) but he wasn’t helped by the players. Van gaal may r may not be ( he’s arrogant enough, and I think u need that at utd) but he’s not being helped by the players either! Fergusons determination and van Persie won the title in 13, but Ferguson left an awful lot of shite behind him! They haven’t looked a dominant team since Ronaldo left, despite 2 league titles since, been in decline for quite some time. The players fergie left aren’t good enough (Rooney excl) to bring the team forward, so that means to improve they need to build an entirely new team, that no easy job for any manager so il give Louis a chance. Nothing is gonna change so long as Jones and Valencia are on the field, and if they’re not on the field it may be smalling or Evans or rafael!!ya need to be able to play from the back, with that lot…. Ah here, I’m tiring meself out now!
I don’t reckon Kevin fired moyes himself in fairness
But Jones is a defender. He cannot be blamed in a 0-0 draw. His job is to keep goals out
He is a poor defender. If he was a no nonsense hard as nails Steve Bruce type old fashioned centre half, that would compensate for his lack of composure on the ball, but he ain’t. Liability a lid of the time
Cambridge raisins will b happy with that result !!
No creativity at all tonight. Di Maria was poor. Januzai showed a few nice touches but seems to be lacking confidence. Needed someone to grab the game by the balls but nobody seemed to want to know about it. Will someone please tell me the purpose of Phil f#ckin Jones hittin corners as well please?
Lmao at how average Manure have become. Keep up the good work LVG :)
Money’s men humble the money men.
They were just doing Cambridge a good turn ;) herrera is utds best midfielder really frustrating seeing him wasted atm. Falcao must be shattered making runs all night only to see the ball moved back to Jones and Carrick. On the plus side Rojo looks a player
Agree on falcao Gareth, missed sitters last week but his confidence is shot on account of the appalling service being provided!
Rojo is not a “player” Average at best.
Ah poor Falcao. He is shocking. Getting paid (on loan) astronomical wages. It’s hilarious really. Watching United tonight against a team 76 places below them and the amount of times the ball went square or backwards was incredible. Really shocking. And let’s not forget how strong a starting X1 this was. On paper……
Baldy mc donagh wants to call out rojo
Baldy wouldn’t know how to pronounce his name the dopey toothless fairy boy.
Fixed !!! Replay = more gate money. Man Utd will win replay 4-0 at least.
First and foremost united are a load of pony and trap. United where only famous because they were feared, not because of their players but because of their manager. Man U are as useful as a chocolate fire guard and as equally as usual as a ashtray on a motorbike. The one who laughs the last laughs the longest. Oh yea if ya haven’t noticed united and city are wasters.
That’s a really deep, insightful contribution, you really know your football
Truth hurts
Yeh United were feared not because of their players – schmeichel bruce pallister keane beck ham scholes gigs ince van nistelrooy Rooney Ronaldo Cole Yorke solsjkaer kanchelskis Hughes cantona Stam van de sar Vidic evra sheringham Irwin
They were all shit alright. Utd are shit right now cos they don’t have that calibre of player anymore
Shocking game shocking performance by man utd
these guys were in the conference last year, piss poor from utd, people keep saying utd need defenders, need a lot more than that going on that performance, the pitch was good so can’t have any excuses, massive mistake not to give the job to mourinho for me,he won’t take it now so who do you get?
Bit of a fall from grace for Chadwick. Started a fair few games for Utd now a sub for Cambridge.
…though they did draw…
He is 35 to be fair
Fall from grace???? His only claim to fame as a Manc was to rugby tackle Vladmir Smicer in December 2000 and get sent off in a 1-0 defeat to Liverpool. I would consider this a step up really!!!
1 premier league medal!!!!
Frank Leboeuf has a world cup medal. There are lots of brutal players who have league medals.
Far less bad players have champions leagues though because that’s the pinnacle.
There’s only one Djimi Traore
Just love it…ha ha ha
Baldy mc donagh is axn waynt rooney out for a straightner. Fite to ta death and da winner looses!
Did he not say once he was watching city playing a lower side and they had a bad first half but went on to win 3. 0 and that’s what utd will have to do
They will wish they had been beaten last night. When they come to old Trafford they will be thorn to shreds.
