'Did you bring your balls, Conor?' McGregor in heated confrontation with Paulie Malignaggi

The former WBA welterweight champion quit McGregor’s training camp in disgust earlier this month.

THE SIMMERING FEUD between Conor McGregor and Paulie Malignaggi has escalated further with the two men squaring off in a heated confrontation in Las Vegas on Tuesday.

McGregor had arrived outside the T-Mobile Arena – where Saturday’s fight with Floyd Mayweather will take place – and was in the middle of some media scrums when he noticed Malignaggi, who was speaking with Audie Attar, McGregor’s manager.

Attar could be heard repeatedly telling Malignaggi, who had sparred with McGregor before quitting his camp in disgust earlier this month,”You were talking out of your contract” before McGregor pulled his advisor away, told him to ‘relax’ and moved to talk with Malignaggi himself.

Malignaggi referenced the photos that were leaked by McGregor’s camp, showing the Dubliner in a favourable light.

At first, McGregor attempted to deny the images before then simply dismissing Malignaggi’s annoyance and irritation.

“There was no…don’t be bitching,” McGregor said.

Get over it. Get over it. Get over it. You got your ass whooped.”

“Did you bring your balls, Conor? Malignaggi replied.

At that stage, McGregor wagged a finger in Malignaggi’s face and repeated himself.

“Get over it. You got your fucking ass whooped,” he said before walking away.

Malignaggi, who is a former WBA welterweight champion, is in Vegas to cover the fight for Showtime.

He has criticised McGregor and his team frequently since quitting the camp, referring to the environment as ‘a circus’ and to McGregor as ‘a dickhead’ and ‘jerk-off’.
