McGregor says he's open to Diaz rematch, Dana White denies rumours he has turned it down

The featherweight champion is “fresh and ready to go again” after suffering a first UFC defeat.

CONOR MCGREGOR HAS suggested he would be keen to step back into the Octagon with Nate Diaz.

The UFC featherweight champion lost out to a second-round submission in Las Vegas on 5 March after attempting to jump two up two weight divisions.

All the indications are that the 27-year-old will go back down to 145lbs to face either Jose Aldo or Frankie Edgar at UFC 200, but McGregor is also open to a rematch with Stockton brawler Diaz.

Speaking to TMZ Sports, The Notorious explained that he is feeling “fresh and ready to go again”, before being asked about having Justin Bieber as a fan.

On the prospect of meeting Diaz a second time, he said: “I think I’d like to see that. It’s one that interests me, most certainly. I’d love to get that one back, we’ll see how it goes. We’re in talks.”
