The first episode of Embedded for McGregor v Mendes has landed

IT’S FAIR TO say a lot happened during the first week of filming for ‘UFC 189 Embedded’, most notably the news Conor McGregor will be fighting a very different opponent from the one he was  originally lined up to meet.

But, of course, you knew all that already.

McGregor’s his usual shy and retiring self in the first episode of the series but you do get a good sense of how annoyed he is with Jose Aldo pulling out of the fight.

We also get a first look at his new opponent, Chad Mendes, training with Team Alpha Male and a fairly unorthodox description of why The Notorious moves the way he does from Urijah Faber.
