CONNACHT COULD BE without wing Matt Healy and back row Eoin McKeon for this weekend’s Pro12 trip to face champions Glasgow Warriors.
Kieran Marmion is also a doubt for this weekend after taking a knock to his hip 14 minutes in to Friday’s 29 – 23 win over the Dragons.
Marmion, who missed out on a place in Joe Schmidt’s Rugby World Cup squad, will be monitored by Connacht’s medical staff until the team announcement is confirmed. However, they report that the bruising to the scrum-half’s hip had already subsided yesterday.
Healy is also marked as a possibility to play this week despite bruising his left quad in the opening night victory. McKeon suffered an injury to his medial collateral ligament after coming off the bench. He is only expected to be sidelined for three weeks which would put him back in the frame for the third match of the season, at home to Cardiff Blues on 3 October.
