Connacht rule wing Cian Kelleher out until 'latter part of the season'

Meanwhile, Nepia Fox Matamua will discover the extent of his knee injury this week.

CONNACHT EXPECT MATT Healy and Jake Heenan to be fit in time for the Pro12 clash with Glasgow Warriors at the tail end of this month, but wing Cian Kelleher looks set to be hamstrung into April.

The ex-Leinster academy star, who has scored five tries in his 11 appearances this season suffered the hamstring injury in training last week and the province have ruled him out ‘until the latter part of the season’ – which has just under three months to run.

Flanker Nepia Fox Matamua is a further worry for the reigning champions. He will consult with a surgeon this week to determine the extent of a knee injury sustained against Trevsio.

On top of Heenan (ankle) and Healy (thigh), Pat Lam’s men will go in to Friday’s meeting with Zebre at the Sportsground without Ivan Soroka, Josh Rowland (both knee) and Marnitz Boshoff (shoulder) but all three are expected to be available by the end of the month.
