DONEGAL EXITED THE 2016 championship race last night in Croke Park and the game brought the curtain down on the career of one of their longest-serving players.
33 year-old Colm McFadden announced his retirement after Donegal’s 1-15 to 1-10 All-Ireland quarter-final defeat to Dublin.
The St Michael’s club man came on as a late substitute in the game but the loss means it is his last senior football outing for the county.
