CLAUDE MAKELELE IS returning to the Premier League as an assistant coach to Paul Clement at Swansea.
The former France international, who won Premier League titles with Chelsea in 2004/05 and 2005/06, has signed a deal with the Swans until the end of the season.
Makelele knows new Swansea boss Clement well, having worked under the Englishman at Chelsea during his playing days, and later alongside him in a coaching capacity at Paris Saint-Germain when Carlo Ancelloti was the manager.

The former Real Madrid star will link up with Swansea with immediate effect and will be in the dug-out for Saturday’s Premier League tie against Arsenal at Liberty Stadium.
After leaving his coaching job at PSG, Makelele was made head coach of French club Bastia but his tenure ended in November 2014, less than six months after his appointment.
Clement has already added Nigel Gibbs and Karl Halabi to his coaching ticket, both of whom joined from Spurs.
