2014 CLARE SENIOR hurling champions Cratloe advanced yesterday to complete the semi-final line-up in this year’s championship in the Banner county.
Cratloe, who lost the 2014 Munster club final to Limerick’s Kilmallock, saw off Éire Óg by 0-18 to 1-12 yesterday in their quarter-final tie. Six unanswered points in the finale propelled Cratloe to victory.
In yesterday’s other quarter-final tie, Feakle were 2-19 to 2-15 victors over Wolfe Tones with Gary Guilfoyle and Oisin Donnellan both netting. Now Feakle have a chance to reach the final for the first time since 1989.

Saturday’s two quarter-final games saw Clonlara, last year’s beaten finalists, claim a 0-15 to 0-12 triumph against Tulla.
Tony Kelly inspired Ballyea to a 1-18 to 0-13 victory over Crusheen with the 2013 Hurler of the Year shooting 0-11 while Clare senior football captain Gary Brennan raised the only green flag of the game.
The draw for the semi-finals took take place this evening at the Clare GAA headquarters in Clareabbey and the pairings are Clonlara v Cratloe and Feakle v Ballyea.
