It’s a huge night for the hurlers of Cork, Wexford, Clare and Limerick.

THERE’S TWO PLACES up for grabs in this year’s All-Ireland senior hurling quarter-finals this afternoon in Semple Stadium.

Clare, Limerick, Cork and Wexford are all in action in Round 2 qualifiers.

Cork face Wexford at 5pm, with the Rebels having defeated Dublin by three points last Saturday while Conor McDonald’s scoring heroics propelled Wexford to victory over Offaly.

At 7pm then, it’s the meeting of a Clare side who beat Laois comprehensively last Saturday and Limerick, victors over Westmeath in Mullingar last time out.
