Clare bring captain back from injury and change goalkeeper for Limerick game

Cian Dillon is back in action for Clare.

CLARE CAPTAIN CIAN Dillon returns to the starting side for tomorrow’s crunch Allianz Division 1B hurling league tie against Limerick.

The prize of promotion is on offer in Cusack Park in Ennis for the game and Dillon is named to start at full-back for the Banner.

Patrick Kelly also returns in goal for Davy Fitzgerald’s side.

They are the only two changes from the team that thrashed Kerry last Sunday in Ennis with Donal Tuohy and Conor Cleary the players to lose out.

There’s one positional change as a result of Dillon’s selection with Patrick O’Connor moving to left half-back.

Throw-in tomorrow is 2pm.

If you don’t follow LIV, you’d forget McKibbin hasn’t dropped off the golf planet…

@Jacob: Not about blame unless he’s planning on getting out of the game early, the short-term gamble on LIV is ill-advised this early in his career. Having just won his PGA card, a couple of seasons on that, and then moving to LIV if it still exists would have been the intelligent move.
