Irish striker Cillian Sheridan helps fire his side to Cypriot Cup final

The former Celtic man is in a rich vein of form in Cyprus.

CILLIAN SHERIDAN’S OMONIA have booked a place in the Cypriot Cup final after beating AEK Larnaca in a penalty shootout.

The semi-final was scoreless after two legs, with extra time still unable to provide a breakthrough for either side.

The former Celtic man scored the first penalty of the shootout as Omonia reached the final after winning 5-3 on penalties.  They will now play Apollon in the final after they also needed penalties to overcome APOEL.
