Here's how Dublin turned the tide in 15 mad minutes against Mayo

An absolutely brilliant goal from the Mayo forward.

THE MOST PRESSURISED situation in gaelic football: it’s September, you’re playing Dublin in Croke Park, mere feet away from Hill 16 when the ball comes your way… and, heaviest of all the weights on your shoulders, you’re a Mayo forward.

Cillian O’Connor showed tremendous composure to overcome all these obstacles to sell an outrageous dummy to Stephen Cluxton and push Mayo into the lead with this 42nd minute goal.

This goal came just moments after Seamus O’Shea was fortunate to be handed a black card for this confrontation with Jonny Cooper.

Dublin hit back on level terms by the 55th minute though, with this instinctive lunge from Bernard Brogan.

And a minute later, this controversial goal from Philly McMahon.
