CIARAN KILDUFF AND Robbie Benson will both be back at Oriel Park next season after committing their futures to Airtricity League champions Dundalk.
And the pair already have their sights set on a bigger and better year in 2017.
Kilduff and Benson have been key men in Dundalk’s fairytale Europa League run, with Stephen Kenny’s side firmly focused on Thursday’s trip to Tel Aviva and the chance to book their place in the knockout rounds.

“When Stephen asked me to sit down I think we were both pleased to get the deal done because I am very (happy) here,” Benson said.
“Stephen was very happy with me this year too and hopefully going forward we can recreate what we did this year and make it better too.”
Kilduff, who scored both the equaliser against AZ Alkmaar and Dundalk’s unforgettable winner in the home game against Maccabi, was equally delighted.
“It was something in my contract here that there was the option of another year here so I am happy to get it down on paper and be here for another year,” he said.
“Over the last three years the club has been the most successful in Ireland with the trophies that we have won and everything in Europe. It’s a great place to be. Going forward it’s good to be part of and I wanted to stay here.”
